Lynn Hardy


Lynn Hardy is a Licensed Psychologist. She has over 30 years of experience in the counseling field working in employee assistance, hospital emergency rooms and in private practice. Lynn received her BA from Bethel College. She received her master’s degree from St. Mary’s University. Lynn is one of the co-founders of the Minnesota Association of Christian Counselors. Lynn provides clinical supervision and is a Board-Certified supervisor for the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health. Lynn’s commitment to her faith, family and profession is of utmost importance to her. Lynn believes her personal relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ guides in her personal and professional life. She is pleased to be able to offer the option of a faith based perspective in counseling for those seeking a more holistic approach in integrating their spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health.

Lynn and her husband have been married over 32 years and have three children. Lynn sees individuals, couples and families for a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, loss, interpersonal conflicts, compulsivity, abuse issues and trauma. She utilizes primarily a cognitive-behavioral and solution focused approach. Her special interests include women’s issues, life balance issues, parenting, critical incident stress debriefings, and life coaching. Lynn also specializes in counseling those who have been traumatized by accidents, abuse, violence or the effects of war. She has had specialized training in trauma counseling and utilizes EMDR which is a particularity powerful tool to promote healing.
